About The Challenge

"The Lazy Vegan Challenge" idea originated from a co-worker of mine who decided to go vegan as a New Year's resolution for the first 3 months of 2013. The reason for it being lazy is because instead of doing it on his own, he got as many people from work involved as possible, so that way, the creative vegan recipes and ideas could be pooled together from a large group of colleagues to support each other, rather than one individual doing all the work alone. Lol...smart man.

Well my reason for this vegan challenge being "lazy" is because I prefer to eat out. While getting creative and artsy with dishes sounds like fun (and don't get me wrong, when I have the time to cook, it really is fun), with my busy schedule these days I'd rather pay someone else to do all the fancy cooking and artwork. Oh, and I'm not doing it just because of the sake of everyone else at work doing it. I figured that it's been a while since I've challenged myself with a healthy diet and I could for sure shed off the pounds gained from stuffing my face during my holidays in Texas. Also, what better timing to do it while your co-workers are with you in the same challenge???

So each week for the next 3 months, I shall try a vegan restaurant in Toronto, and share with you my thoughts and reviews for each one! I basically get to be a vegan food critic for 12 weeks...fun!!
